Project Kindness
On August 5, 2009, our world shattered when our beloved daughter Aly died in a car accident while coming home from a swim meet. Going into her sophomore year at Ferndale, she was just 15 years old.
For her Sweet 16 birthday, Aly’s teammates and friends paid it forward by delivering treat bags to strangers. The joy they found in this act of kindness inspired Project Kindness.
Grief Diaries is a village of people helping people, because when we help others it helps our own heart to heal. Together we can spread kindness to others in need around the world.
Please help us fill our Project Kindness boxes with donations. It’s easy, will take only a moment, the kindness will help more than you’ll ever know—and 100% of your donation goes to purchase supplies we deliver directly to the poor including:
Baby wipes
Diapers
Clothing, especially kids clothing
Shoes
Socks
Underwear
Towels
Sheets
Toothbrushes and toothpaste
Women's sanitary supplies
Coloring books
Pencils, crayons, and school supplies
Thank you for being part of Project Kindness!
